Sunset over the Mountains

Shortly before sunset, the sun broke through the clouds and lit up the mountains on the horizon.

Snowstorm

    Frozen Baikal

    The journey began with a six-hour flight from Moscow. In Irkutsk the captain cheered us up with the forecast: sunny, minus 31.

Born in the Moscow region, and still living here. I have been photographing landscapes since the mid-1990s — I started as a schoolboy in a darkroom. Software engineer by profession. Member of the Russian Union of Art Photographers, EFIAP.
